Rachel Bonnette

Rachel is a second year Ph.D. student in the Learning Sciences and Policy program. She has researched maker identity formation in a housing development for post-foster care youth, and worked on designing an intervention for improving safe attitudes through concussion education for high school coaches and athletes. Her research interests focus on equity for disadvantaged individuals through education and informal learning, with a particular interest in equitable opportunities to explore and prepare for STEM and other professional pathways. She has a diverse educational background in film and animation, law, and public policy.
